Answers to the questions patients ask most often about treatments, pricing, safety, downtime, and what to expect at Grand Aesthetics in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Botox at Grand Aesthetics starts at $14 per unit. A typical treatment ranges from 20 to 60 units depending on the areas treated and your muscle strength. We discuss likely unit counts and total cost before any injections are placed — no surprises at checkout.
Not with a conservative approach. We start with the lowest effective dose and build slowly, checking in at two weeks if needed. The goal is for people to say you look rested — not to wonder what you've had done. Your expressions stay yours.
Results typically last about 3 months before gradually wearing off. With a consistent maintenance plan, many patients find results improve and last slightly longer over time as treated muscles are less active between appointments.
The right time is when you notice lines beginning to stay at rest between expressions, or when frowning, squinting, or raising your brows leaves lines that linger longer than they used to. Starting earlier in the formation of a line makes it easier to prevent it from becoming permanent.
All injections are performed by Krista Novak, ND, NP — a Doctorate-prepared Nurse Practitioner with advanced aesthetic training. There are no rotating injectors and no supervised midlevel providers. You see the same person every visit.
Yes — Botox is often combined with dermal fillers, skincare, lasers, or Alma IQ skin analysis as part of a broader facial plan. We sequence treatments so each one supports the others rather than treating them as isolated procedures.
Filler pricing depends on the product and the amount used. We discuss expected cost before any treatment begins — no surprises. A consultation will give you a clear estimate based on your goals.
Not with our approach. We start conservatively, building gradually over one or more visits. The goal is for people to notice you look refreshed — not to guess what you've had done.
Depending on the product and area treated, results typically last 6 to 18 months. Lip fillers tend to metabolize faster (6–12 months), while cheek and jawline fillers can last longer.
Most fillers contain lidocaine and we use topical numbing. Lips tend to be the most sensitive area, but most clients describe the discomfort as very manageable — a brief pinch or pressure.
Yes — hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if needed. This is one of the safety advantages of HA-based products.
All filler treatments are performed by Krista Novak, ND, NP — a Doctorate-prepared Nurse Practitioner. There are no rotating injectors. You see the same provider every visit.
Most clients describe warmth and a prickling or 'spicy' sensation during treatment. Topical numbing is applied beforehand to keep you comfortable throughout the session.
Most patients benefit from a series of 2–4 treatments spaced several weeks apart. The number depends on your concerns, skin condition, and how aggressively we treat. We discuss this during your consultation.
Both create controlled micro-injuries to stimulate collagen, but Opus Plasma adds thermal energy from plasma, which provides deeper remodeling and more dramatic texture improvement. Opus typically involves more downtime but delivers stronger results.
Fall and winter are popular since UV exposure is easier to manage. However, with proper sun protection, Opus can be performed year-round. We help you plan timing around your outdoor schedule.
Microneedling at Grand Aesthetics starts at $500 per treatment. A series of 3 starts at $1,350. We discuss your plan and pricing before any treatment begins.
A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand, so most patients feel only a light vibration or scratching sensation. Comfort is very manageable for most people.
Most patients benefit from a series of 3 treatments spaced about a month apart. We'll assess your skin and goals during your consultation to recommend the right number.
We offer Linder Health peels, including Hero, Spot(less), and Polite. Each one is selected based on your skin goals, sensitivity, and current condition.
Usually not. These are low-inflammation peels, so most patients experience mild tightness or light flaking rather than thick, obvious peeling.
Most appointments take about 30–45 minutes, depending on the peel selected and your skin plan.
Yes. Depending on the formula, peels can help with congestion, acne-prone skin, post-acne marks, pigment, and sun damage.
IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light. It is a broadband light treatment used to target sun damage, brown spots, redness, and visible vessels.
ClearLift Pro is better for texture, fine lines, mild laxity, and subtle rejuvenation. IPL is better for pigment, redness, and visible capillaries. Many patients benefit from both, just used for different jobs.
ClearLift has essentially no downtime. IPL also has light recovery, but pigment can temporarily darken and redness may look a little stronger before it settles. We will tell you what to expect based on the treatment we choose.
Yes. In many plans we use ClearLift to support texture and mild tightening, and IPL to address pigment and redness. We may stage them seasonally or combine them within a larger skin plan.
Most areas require a package of 6 sessions, spaced about one month apart. Hair grows in cycles, and multiple sessions are needed to target follicles at the right growth stage for meaningful reduction.
Most clients describe quick snaps similar to a rubber band, along with some warmth. We use cooling techniques to keep the treatment as comfortable as possible.
A series of 6 treatments can achieve up to 80% reduction in the treated area. Some maintenance sessions may be needed over time, but daily shaving and frequent waxing become a thing of the past for most clients.
Recent tanning or self-tanning can interfere with safety and effectiveness. We ask you to avoid sun exposure and tanning products for at least two weeks before treatment.
Most tattoos require 6 to 12 sessions, though the number varies widely based on ink colors, density, depth, age, and your body's response. We will give you a realistic range during your consultation.
Many clients compare the sensation to quick snaps or the feeling of getting the tattoo in the first place. We can apply topical numbing for comfort, and sessions are often shorter than people expect.
Black and dark inks respond best to laser treatment. Lighter colors like yellow, green, and white can be more stubborn. We will assess your specific ink colors and set honest expectations.
Pricing starts at $400 per session for small tattoos (up to 4 cm), $600 for medium (up to 10 cm), and $800 for large (up to 15 cm). Tattoos exceeding these sizes or with multiple colors may require custom pricing discussed at consultation.
Yes. Many clients choose to lighten a tattoo rather than fully remove it, which gives a tattoo artist more flexibility for a cover-up design. We can work toward a specific level of fading if that is your goal.
Alma IQ is an AI-driven skin imaging system that captures high-resolution images using 10 different light modes. It analyzes 12+ skin parameters to give us an objective, data-backed picture of your skin health.
Not at all. You simply rest your chin and forehead on the device support while images are captured in about 10 seconds. It is completely non-invasive.
Alma IQ analysis is included as part of your consultation at Grand Aesthetics. There is no separate charge for the scan.
We typically recommend scanning at your initial consultation and then at key milestones in your treatment plan, such as every 3 to 6 months, so we can track progress and adjust your plan.
Yes, Alma IQ imaging is safe for most skin types. We will confirm suitability during your consultation.
Most IV appointments take between 45 and 90 minutes, depending on what is being administered. You can relax, read, or rest during the infusion.
When properly screened and administered, IV therapy is generally safe. We review your medical history, medications, and goals before every session and monitor you throughout the infusion.
Frequency depends on your health, activity level, and goals. We help you decide whether IVs should be occasional, part of a short series, or something you check in with seasonally.
Yes. IV support can complement skin treatments, hair restoration, and weight loss when appropriate. Your Nurse Practitioner will help you decide timing and sequencing.
NAD+ is a coenzyme involved in energy production and cellular repair. We will review whether NAD+ is appropriate for you based on your health history and goals during your consultation.
Some people feel subtle benefits the same day, others over the following days. Tracking changes in energy, sleep, and recovery helps guide future sessions.
We currently use Tirzepatide, a dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist that works on multiple hormone pathways influencing hunger, satiety, and blood sugar.
Many patients notice appetite changes in the first few weeks. Steady, moderate weight loss typically follows over months of treatment with proper nutrition and lifestyle adjustments.
Common side effects include nausea, constipation, and decreased appetite, especially early on. We start low and titrate slowly to minimize these, and provide practical management strategies.
This varies by individual. Some patients use GLP-1s for months and transition off; others benefit from longer-term use. We discuss maintenance planning early.
Rapid weight loss can affect facial volume and skin. Because we are also an aesthetic practice, we monitor these changes and can plan proactively with fillers, skin treatments, or other support.
TED stands for TransEpidermal Delivery. It uses ultrasound technology to push hair growth factors through the skin of the scalp — no needles, no pain, no downtime.
A standard course is three sessions, each spaced about one month apart. Some patients benefit from maintenance sessions afterward.
No. Most patients describe the sensation as a warm massage. There are no needles involved.
Many patients notice early improvement within a few weeks, with full results developing over the course of the three-treatment protocol.
TED pricing is $1,600 for a series of 4, $2,400 for a series of 6, and $400 for a maintenance session. We'll help you choose the right plan based on your goals and stage of hair loss.
We offer transparent, complimentary consultations for most services. You'll meet Krista, share your goals, review your skin (including an Alma IQ scan when relevant), and leave with a clear plan and pricing — no pressure to book.
Yes. We publish starting prices on every service page and walk through expected cost before any treatment begins. You will never be surprised at checkout.

Downtime varies widely by treatment. Botox, fillers, ClearLift, and IV therapy have essentially no downtime. Microneedling and IPL typically involve a few days of redness or flaking. Opus Plasma and stronger peels can require a week or more of social downtime. We outline expectations before booking.
For injectables, we recommend skipping intense exercise for the rest of the day. For resurfacing treatments (microneedling, Opus, peels), we typically ask you to avoid heavy sweat for 24–72 hours depending on the protocol.
After injectables, you can wear makeup the same day. After microneedling or resurfacing, we typically ask you to wait 24–48 hours and to use a fresh, clean application when you do.

We use starter earrings appropriate for new piercings, selected for biocompatibility and skin tolerance. If you have a history of metal sensitivities, we will discuss options before your appointment.
Healing times vary, but we generally recommend keeping starter earrings in for at least 6 weeks for lobes. We will give you specific guidance based on your healing progress.
If you have a history of keloids or significant scarring, we will review this carefully before recommending piercing. In some cases, we may suggest alternative placement or advise against piercing if the risk is too high.
Yes, in many cases we can place more than one piercing per ear in the same visit. We will discuss placement, healing considerations, and whether it makes sense to stage them based on your goals.
